Wild Hogs
The hogs are descendants from the pigs brought to Florida by the early Spanish explorers.
They are considered game animals on public land and fall under the same seasons as deer. Occasionally there will be special hog hunts on public lands for the purpose of reducing the population size.
Hogs on private land are considered the property of the landowner. With permission of the property owner, you can hunt them year round. There is no size or bag limit except any rules that may be established by the landowner.
